I have always feared for the arrival of A'lvls cos it seems like the highest barrier in my life. With the limitation of my physical attribute, this barrier is exceptionally hard for me to get over... ~HAHA jk!
I've never imagined myself taking such a 'GRAND' major exam in my life. Now, here it is. I rmb last year when i saw the seniors burying their heads in their books in preparation for A'lvls, I felt so glad that it wasn't my turn yet. Now, it's in a few months' time! HOWHOWHOW?!
On one of the days last year, I went to the toilet and heard a senior crying in the next cubicle. She was on the phone. Later I found out from her conversation that she's crying becos she was extremely stressed. I kinda freaked out when I realised how stressful A'lvls can be. I hope this will not happen to me, as well as any of my other friends... ):
God, please bless me and everyone else around me to be safe and sound throughout this challenging period! Best if you can turn our brains into extemely absorbant sponges! HAHA!Anyway, today's Teacher's Day celebration. Was browsing through the facebook page and I saw some updates on NYGH's celebration. Whoa... I really miss being a nanyang student cos nanyang's teacher's day celebration is always very high! esp with highlights of certain teachers' performances! Not forgetting the class party before the concert! All of a sudden I'm reminded of Mrs Wong... Oh correction, should be Mrs Wong's icecream! HAHAHA! Jkjk! I miss both lah! She's really sweet! She lives in JB and she drives to school every morning, from JB! Despite the long journey to school, she bought tubs of icecream for our class for the party for both years that she taught us! ): Really miss those days when we could have so much fun in school, esp during breaks and after school! ):

SCO Presents Elegant Tunes
Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) proudly presents “Elegant Tunes” on 20 (Fri) and 21 August (Sat) 8.00pm, at the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Concert Hall.
The concert will be conducted by SCO Associate Conductor Quek Ling Kiong, and features the Singapore Premiere of “Erhu Rhapsody No. 4” with solo performance by Erhu Master Chen Chun Yuan.
SCO soloists Xu Hui (Guzheng) and Tan Loke Chuah (Percussion) will also take the stage with “Ru Man” and “Kebjar-Bali” respectively.
Currently an Associate Professor of Chinese Music at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Chen Chun Yuan is a prominent figure of contemporary Erhu academia.
Renowned for her unique style of playing, her music is reminiscent of the traditional Erhu performing technique, laced with delicacy and precision.
In Elegant Tunes, Chen Chun Yuan will be performing the solo in the Singapore premiere of famous Chinese composer Wang Jian Min’s “Erhu Rhapsody No. 4”, an intricate piece that is bound to bring out the best in Erhu Virtuoso Chen Chun Yuan.
Besides “Erhu Rhapsody No. 4”, SCO is also honored to perform, for the very first time in Singapore, “Ru Man”; featuring SCO Guzheng Soloist Xu Hui.
A multi award winning performer, Xu Hui is an accomplished Guzheng Master, captivating audience around the world with her mesmerizing style of playing.
Audience will be brought into a magical dimension through her enchanting solo in this concert. SCO Percussion Principal Tan Loke Chuah will be performing the solo in “Kebjar-Bali”. A traditional Balinese music tune originally performed by twenty performers, Loke Chuah take on the daunting task of performing the solo for this piece, illustrating the complex rhythmic patterns of the music.
SCO will also be performing another piece from Indonesia in the concert, “Colours of Gamelan”. Originated from the Java and Bali region, this piece, traditionally performing by percussion will be specially adapted for the Chinese orchestra, giving birth to new experiences.
Another performance to watch out will be “Gada Meilin”, a piece depicting the bravery and adventures of legendary Mongolian warrior of the same name.
GAHHH! i feel like watching this concert cos SCO's gonna play the Erhu Rhapsody No. 4! Premiere in Singapore! I wouldn't be bothered if the composer isn't Wang Jian Min. He's my idol in composing Chinese pieces! I like his style cos his pieces are interesting to play and nice too! Not just this, the other pieces that they'll be performing appeal to me too! But well, I guess I'm gonna give it a miss cos
1. im not free on fri, sat shd be reserved for practising erhu
2. i shd be spending more time to mug
3. not like Wang Jian Min's gonna appear
LOL. YEAH, I'll be able to hear it in the future since it's alrdy in Singapore! Moreover, Moses also said that it's not as nice as the first two. (haha, im trying to psycho myself that not going is a better choice!) AWWWW. BYE CONCERT.
Anyway, I just watched a tour show on tv. The host visited the rural areas in Hainan. When I saw him chasing after the goats, I feel like being a 'kampong girl'! HAHA! A 'kampong girl' who chases after goats to the fields, feed animals, do farming.... etc. HAHA! It's quite nice actually! Imagine the sense of accomplishment you get when your animals grow healthy and chubby and when your crops are ready for harvest! You can even make friends with the animals! This kind of feeling can never be experienced in city life! ):
Recently, I've found out that my blog has silent readers(ppl who read and nvr tag and they're ppl whom i nvr expect to visit my blog). LOL! Come on, leave a tag to keep my blog/tagboard alive! HAHAHA!

Sighs. I've been limping (but i try not to make it look obvious, so i doubt anyone has realised it, except for the class girls lol) for the past two days.
Why?!
Cos I 'geh kiang', jogged for a long time on wed and ended up with calve's muscles ache. Now I have to walk and minimize the bending of my legs at the same time, cos it hurts whenever I bend them. Stupid suzie laughed at me when I staggered my way down the stairs. -.-
